Producer Volunteer CandoFM Community Radio

CandoFM community radio is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join our producer team. Producers are responsible for recording, editing, and publishing audio content for our FM and online broadcasts. If you’re passionate about radio production, this is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience!

Responsibilities:

• Record audio content such as interviews, segments, promos, etc.
• Edit raw recordings using digital audio workstations
• Mix down and master recordings for broadcast
• Manage projects and track progress from recording to on-air
• Work collaboratively with station staff and volunteers
• Assist with training other volunteers on production

Qualifications:

• Strong interest in audio production and editing
• Experience with digital audio software preferred
• Creative mindset and ability to generate engaging content
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and committed to projects
• Ability to work independently and on a team

Time Commitment: 5-10 hours per week, minimum 6 month commitment

Benefits:
This is an unpaid, volunteer position. However, it’s a great opportunity to learn radio production skills. We provide hands-on training in our pre-record studios and editing suites. Gain valuable experience while being part of a community radio team!
